Sometimes the larger a yard is the harder it can be to envision a space for gathering friends and family. With their new pool design and other home renovations our customer was also looking to upgrade their shade from a traditional canvas terrace awning to something more elevated and modern. That’s where Smart Shade came in – we integrated a custom designed freestanding retractable structure to blend their indoors and outdoors seamlessly. Under their new louvered pergola they now have a dining area and sitting area for friends and family to enjoy year-round. Some special features to note about this design is the custom wood finish done on the support frame. With this custom support frame our client was also able to integrate ceiling fans into their pergola.
