For the Chabad of Key Biscayne our team designed a curved retractable fabric pergola over their outdoor event space. The installation is one large canopy system that spans the entire space, approximately 800 sq. feet. The system is attached to the building at rear and supported with columns in front. With the beam in the center we were able to install the system with no center columns. The fabric, when retracted, retracts to the rear of the system so they still have an open-air feel in their space and they chose a more translucent fabric so they don’t sacrifice light coming in when the system needs to be in the closed position.
